
Bulls Look For 2nd Win Tonight Versus Port Huron

BLAINE, MN - The Amarillo Bulls hope to put their last game behind them and rebound with a victory when they return to action tonight (Friday) in Day 3 of the NAHL Showcase in Blaine Minnesota.
The Bulls (1-1) face the winless Port Huron Fighting Falcons at 8 pm at the Schwan Super Rink No. 2. Amarillo dropped a tough 4-3 decision to the Fresno Monsters on Thursday night. The Monsters trailed 3-2 and netted two goals in the final five minutes to get the victory. The Fighting Falcons have had a difficult start to the Showcase losing 5-2 to the Coulee Region Chill, and then 6-2 to the Owatonna Express.
Joe Kozlak leads all Bulls in scoring with three points (2 goals, 1 assist), while six other players each have two points apiece. Shane Halaas has two of Port Huron's four goals.
Fans can tune into all of the action of tonight's game live on ESPN 1440AM, beginning with the Bulls Warm Up Show at 7:45 pm. Denis J. Puska will have the play-by-play call at 8 pm. The Bulls game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the contest. The Bulls will close out the Showcase on Saturday morning when they face the St. Louis Bandits at 9:45 am.
Hockey returns to the Texas Panhandle in one week's time, when the Amarillo Bulls host the Texas Tornado in their Inaugural Home Opener at 7 pm in The Bull Pen at Cal Farley Coliseum in the Amarillo Civic Center.
