Bulls Host New Mexico this Weekend for Two

February 3, 2011 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Amarillo Bulls News Release

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls have been a dominant team on home ice this season, and hope to return to that terrific form this weekend when they host the New Mexico Mustangs for a pair of games in The Bull Pen at the Amarillo Civic Center. The face-offs for both games, on Friday and Saturday nights, are set for 7 pm.

The Bulls have won just two of their last five games away from home, including a tough 4-3 3rd-period loss, to the pesky Mustangs last Thursday night. There is currently a tie for second place in the South Division standings between Amarillo and the Texas Tornado, each with 53 points. The Tornado hosts the Mustangs tonight (Thursday) and will also play the Wichita Falls Wildcats on Saturday night. The Bulls have played two games less than Texas and still own several games in hand.

There are several promotions planned for the weekend. On Friday, all children entering the game will receive a free Bulls tattoo. Saturday's game is sponsored by Suddenlink Communications, and the first 500 fans through the doors will receive thundersticks. Fans can also win one of several Blu-Ray DVD players that will be given away.

Tickets are available at all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets, Civic Center Box Office or online at www.amarillobulls.com. To purchase single game tickets, inquire about flex packs or group ticket prices, please call the Bulls Office, at 806-242-1122, or visit them at 901 South Buchanan.
