Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs are pleased to announce their role as a Host Hockey Club partner during Canada's premier national street hockey tour - TSN Presents "Play On!" The Official Canadian Street Hockey Tournament.
The Bulldogs will have an active role in the Hamilton tournament to be played July 9-10 on Fennell Ave. on Hamilton Mountain. The event will feature separate divisions for both genders and all age categories.
The top two Elite (Adult Male) teams from this event will progress on to the first ever national street hockey championships - held in London in September. The National Championship winners will be recognized as Canada's greatest street hockey players, and will be awarded a new sterling silver Cup. Winning team members' names will be engraved on it, and the trophy, their sticks, jerseys, and team picture will all be displayed within TSN's themed exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
The Hamilton Bulldogs join National sponsors TSN, Sport Chek, Speed Stick, POWERade, allmaple apparel, Hockey Canada and the Canadian Ball Hockey Association in support of this very exciting, first-time event in Hamilton.
