
Bulldogs Host Aeros in Game Six Tonight

Tonight the Hamilton Bulldogs will look to extend the Calder Cup Finals to a seventh game as they host the Houston Aeros in Game #6 at Copps Coliseum.
The Houston Aeros took a 3-2 series lead in the Calder Cup Finals on Saturday night as they defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 6-4 at the Compaq Center. Scoring goals for Hamilton in Game #5 were Jason Ward, Tony Salmelainen, Michael Ryder and Bill Lindsay. The Aeros had six different players score including: Rastislav Pavlikovsky, Jeff Hoggan, Jean-Guy Trudel, Tony Tuzzolino, Kyle Wanvig and Dan Cavanaugh. Ty Conklin stopped 34 of 39 shots for the Bulldogs. Johan Holmqvist made 33 saves in the Aeros net. On special teams the Bulldogs were one for three with the man-advantage. Houston scored twice on six power play opportunities. Game #5 featured ten goals, which was the most in the 2003 Calder Cup Finals.
