Bulldogs Acquire Six Draft Selections from 67's for Morrison

HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamilton Bulldogs Interim General Manager Matt Turek today announced the acquisition of six OHL Priority Draft Selections from the Ottawa 67's in exchange for overage forward Logan Morrison.

The six draft selections acquired include a 2023 2nd Round Pick, 2026 2nd Round Pick, 2024 3rd Round Pick, 2026 3rd Round Pick, 2023 4th Round Pick & 2024 4th Round Pick.

Morrison, a Guelph native, was selected by Hamilton in the 1st round, 18th overall in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection Draft and headlined an incredible class that would form the backbone of the 2022 OHL Champions. Morrison departs the Bulldogs 3rd all time in franchise scoring having accumulated 91 goals & 143 assists for 234 points in 200 games played. Morrison set a Hamilton Bulldogs record with 39 points, in 19 playoff games, on route to being named the winner of the 99 Trophy as OHL Playoff MVP leading the Bulldogs to the franchise's second championship. Morrison additionally holds franchise records for most assists in a single season and in his career.

Serving as the 6th captain in Hamilton Bulldogs history, Morrison set an example for what a Hamilton Bulldog should be both on and off the ice. The Hamilton Bulldogs want to thank Logan Morrison for his monumental contributions to our team, culture and community and wish him nothing but the greatest success moving forward.
