Bucks Welcome New Staff, Make Changes To Front Office

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Wednesday that they have hired two new members of the front office staff, Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady, and Group Sales Executive Jon Rathbun. Both Brady and Rathbun arrived in Laredo last week, and began their duties Monday.

Brady and Rathbun are both originally from New York State, and come to the Bucks after spending the last two years with the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers. Brady served as the Sales Manager, while Rathbun worked as a Ticket Representative and Community Hockey Coordinator.

Brady, a native of Goshen, NY, has a Masters from the College of New Rochelle, and is a 2001 graduate of Oneonta State University (NY), where he earned a Political Science Degree. He will be joined in Laredo by his wife Elizabeth, and their son Dylan.

Rathbun, a Buffalo, NY native, is a 2003 graduate of the University of Miami (FL), where he earned a degree in Business.

Arturo Ortega and Keith Moore continue to work in the Bucks ticket office, with Ortega beginning his fifth year with the team, and Moore entering his fourth.

*Thomson New Director of Corporate Sponsorships*

The Bucks also officially announced that Donald Thomson has been named the team's new Director of Corporate Sponsorships.

Thomson completed his first full season with the team in 2007-08, and was major part of the team that captured the 2007-08 CHL Corporate Sponsorship Franchise of the year award.

A Houston native, Thomson is a 2005 graduate of Texas A & M University, where he also received his master's degree in Sports Management.
