Bucks Walk For JDRF Saturday At TAMIU

LAREDO, Texas - The defending CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks will have a team participating in the JDRF Walk for a Cure this Saturday at TAMIU beginning at 8 a.m. The Bucks will also present the official $10,000 check to JDRF, which was donated by the organization after the Bucks sold out their game on March 9th against Colorado to help raise awareness for Juvenile Diabetes. Games One and Two of the first round of the CHL Playoffs presented by Westwind Home are set for this Friday and Saturday at the LEC against Rio Grande Valley. Face off at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Individual playoff game tickets are on sale at the LEC Box Office, online and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Also purchase your 2007 Bucks CHL playoff package or commit to 07-08 Bucks season tickets and be entered to win a four day, three night trip to Las Vegas, including air fair for two from Allegiant Air, hotel and $500 spending money. Bucks forward Steve Simoes will be present and Bucky will be participating in the walk.

People can still register to participate in the walk by going to www.jdrf.org. Individuals that raise more than $100 receive a JDRF t-shirt.
