Bucks Training Camp Begins Monday

(10/06/02) The Laredo Bucks inaugural training camp officially begins Monday morning at 9:00, when the first group of players take the ice for the first time. The training camp roster will be split into two groups of 14 players apiece during the preseason. Group One (white) will skate from 9:00am-10:30am Monday. Group Two (black) will skate from 11:00am-12:30pm. The two groups will then scrimmage at 4:30pm. A detailed training camp schedule is attached. Also attached is a breakdown of players in the two groups. The schedule and the training camp roster is subject to change at the coach's discretion.
The 2002 preseason includes one preseason game at Austin on Saturday, October 12 at 7:00pm. Coach/general manager Terry Ruskowski must submit his final Opening Night roster to the Central Hockey League no later than Wednesday, October 16. The Bucks open the season in Corpus Christi on Friday, October 17. The first Bucks home games at the Laredo Entertainment Center are Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
