
Bucks To Host Luncheon At CHL Summer Conference

CHANDLER, AZ- Laredo Bucks Front Office staff members will attend the Central Hockey League's annual Summer Conference beginning Thursday (June 4th), and running through Saturday June 6th. Delegates from all CHL teams will be present and participating in the week's agenda. This year's conference will take place at Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa in Phoenix.
The Bucks will host a luncheon at the conference to promote the 2010 CHL All-Star Game. The meal served at the luncheon will have a Laredo theme, with guests receiving a gift from the Bucks. Laredo City Leaders will attend the event as well. The Bucks will be represented by Majority Owner Glenn Hart, President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski, Vice President's Jennifer Beckelhymer, Nicole Kupaks, and Donald Thomson, and new Corporate Partnership Executive Aaron Ternes.
The conference will be the first for the league's two newest teams, the Allen Americans and Independence Pro Hockey. The Americans will be playing in the new Allen Event Center beginning this fall and the Independence team will call the Independence Events Center home. Expected in attendance is the newly named head coach for Independence, Scott Hillman (announced on June 2nd), as well as Allen Head Coach Dwight Mullins.
The Opening Ceremonies for the Summer Conference will feature a keynote address by David Hira (inspirational speaker and magician) followed by a welcome reception for all delegates scheduled for Thursday evening.
The conference will also feature a new event, Global Idol, giving delegates and guests an opportunity to show their musical ability in front of a live band. The contestants will be competing for great prizes and during the event there will be a charitable silent auction generating money for The Hoffen Foundation.
The festivities will conclude with the CHL Awards Banquet honoring the outstanding organizational and front office achievements from the 2008-09 season. *Team Store Hours* The Bucks team store is open during regular business hours. Call 523-6577 for more information.

The Bucks announced a brand new season ticket holder referral program, which could make each fans season tickets FREE for the 2009-10 season. For every new seat that a current season ticket holder refers, they receive a 20-percent credit off of one of their seats. Bucks Season Ticket Holders can now receive a ten percent discount on their season tickets if they reserve their seats for the 2009-10, and 2010-11 campaigns. With the two-year agreement season ticket holders will receive a 10% discount each year, and can spread their payments out over 24 months.
"With the economy in the shape it's in these days we want to give our fans a chance to pay less for their tickets", said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. "We have the best fans in minor league hockey, and they deserve this very much".

The Bucks also announced brand new benefits for season ticket holders, such as a FREE ticket to the 2010 CHL All-Star Game, FREE drink & food coupons (and more) included in each season ticket booklet, exclusive discounts at Laredo Bucks Corporate Partner Locations, children of season ticket holders receive a FREE membership into the Kid's Club, season ticket holders will automatically be entered into season ticket holder raffle each game, as well as FREE admission to training camp scrimmage at pre-season party, and more to come.
"Our season ticket holders are diehards and we want to make sure that they are getting more than their hard-earned money's worth", Ruskowski said. "And these new benefits are the first step towards that".
In addition to the new season ticket holder benefits, fans will still receive big savings from walk-up ticket prices, convenient payment plans, priority seating for playoffs, discounts at the team merchandise store, name plate on each seat, personal Bucks account executive, and pre and post Season parties.
