Bucks Extend Free Gas Contest: Sign Up Before August 31st

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League are pleased to announce that they have EXTENDED the FREE GAS contest, where fans will have the opportunity to win FREE GAS for a year, thanks to the Bucks. The Bucks will give away two (2) grand prizes of FREE GAS for a year.

To be eligible to win FREE GAS for a year, just buy new or renew your Bucks season tickets by AUGUST 31st. Fans who signed up before July 31st are already eligible to win. Season ticket prices stayed the same as they were last season, starting at just $34 a month (including playoffs). Call 718-BUCK (2825), or visit the LEC to speak to a Bucks ticket representative.

"The response of this contest has been spectacular", said Bucks head coach/GM Terry Ruskowski. "We have many more people who want to sign up, so we are happy to extend the contest to August 31st".

"We did two significant things so far this offseason in trying to give back to the community. One was we kept season ticket prices exactly the same, and the second thing is we are giving fans a chance to win free gas for a year", Ruskowski said.

"We are very proud to have a very low season ticket price for the best fans in the league", said Ruskowski. "With gas prices the way they are these days it's great to know that we kept our season ticket prices the same as last season. Our fans deserve that", Ruskowski said.

The Coaches Club is back once again. All season ticket price levels will offer all 32 regular season home games, as well as 12 playoff games included in the 10 monthly payments. Should the Bucks play less than 12 playoff games in 08-09, fans will get a credit for every game not played towards 2009-10 season tickets.

Season ticket holders save money, and receive extra benefits like: Pre and Post season parties with the team, redeeming unused tickets, discounts on Bucks merchandise and much more.

The Bucks will begin their seventh CHL season in the Gateway City on October 17th.

*Open House August 23rd At LEC*

The Bucks will hold their annual Open House will be held on Saturday August 23rd, from 11am-4pm at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The event is free and open to the public.

This is your first chance to meet a few of this season's Bucks players, as some of them will be on hand signing autographs, as will Bucks head coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski. There will be behind the scene tours of the Bucks new bus, locker room, and the rest of the LEC. There will also be prizes, giveaways, free hot dogs and hamburgers, face painting for the kids and much more!

*Attention Current Season Ticket Holders! New Rewards Program*

The Bucks are proud to introduce our season ticket holder referral reward. All Bucks season ticket holders who have renewed their seats for the 2008-09 season are eligible for the referral reward.

For every new season ticket that is purchased from a referral, the season ticket holder that referred them will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Bucks team store. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of referrals that an existing season ticket holder can make.

For example, if a current season ticket holder refers a person who buys four new seats for the 2008-09 season, they will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Bucks team store.

Anyone who did not purchase season tickets last season qualifies as a new season ticket holder for 2008-09.
