Laredo Bucks News Release

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks announced Monday that Sebastien Centomo was called up to the AHL's Houston Aeros for the final two regular season games this past weekend against the San Antonio Rampage.

The Aeros are the third different AHL team that Centomo has suited up for in his eighth professional season. Centomo previously spent time with the St. John's Maple Leafs (2001-2004), and Manitoba Moose (2005-2006).

Centomo backed-up Anton Khudobin in the Aeros finals two regular season games Saturday and Sunday, with Houston clinching the third seed in the upcoming AHL playoffs.

The three-time CHL All Star won 20 games in net for the Bucks this season, and posted a 2.84 G.A.A and a .906 sv %.

Centomo was the second Bucks player to be called up to Houston this season, joining Rookie of the Year Darryl Smith. Smith played in four games with the Aeros after being called up on December 30th.

The Bucks will start their eighth season in the Gateway City in October, and will host the 2010 CHL All-Star Game in January.
