Laredo Bucks News Release
(10/16/02) The Laredo Bucks are pleased to announce that all 64 games will air live on "La Tamaulipeca" 101.5 FM and AM 1410. The first broadcast is Thursday, October 17 at 7:00pm when the Bucks visit Corpus Christi for the first game in the history of the Bucks franchise.
"La Tamaulipeca" will carry all 32 Bucks home games at the Laredo Entertainment Center and all 32 away games as well. Bucks ticket information is available online at www.laredobucks.com or via telephone at 718-BUCKS in Laredo or 712-5276 in Nuevo Laredo.
The Bucks and "La Tamaulipeca" are presenting the first professional hockey broadcasts with play-by-play in English and Spanish. Jim Talamonti, the play-by-play voice of the Bucks, says, "Hockey is a fast, exciting game, and we want everyone to be able to understand what's happening on the ice. The play-by-play will be in English with Spanish as well. Between periods, we'll have interviews in Spanish and in English. We appreciate the tremendous support of our fans and our sponsors."
