Bucks Add Kosolofsky and Jones

LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Thursday that they have signed Branden Kosolofsky and Chris Jones for the 2011-2012 season.
Branden Kosolofsky is 21 years old from Bon Accord, Alberta. Last season Kosolofsky played for the Augusta Riverhawks (SPHL). Before turning pro, he won the MJAHL Championship with the Woodstock Slammers
The 5'11", 165 pound forward appeared in 64 games last season. He notched 19 goals and 33 assists during the regular season. During the playoffs, he scored 2 goals and had 8 assists in 9 games. Kosolofsky was named to the SPHL All-Rookie Team last season. During his career in the MJAHL, he played a total of 81 games. He averaged 1.25 points per game earning 41 goals and 60 assists.
"Branden is a hardworking forward that plays real tough and puts points up on the board," says Head Coach Serge Dube. "It will be very interesting to see him play."
Chris Jones is 25 years old from Dumfries, GBR. The last four seasons, he has attended and played hockey for York University Lions. The 6'4", 225 pound right wing appeared in 101 games for the Lions. He scored 35 goals and had 35 assists for a total of 70 points during his college career.
"Chris is a big kid with Canadian University experience. I look forward to seeing his intensity in camp," states Head Coach Dube.
"I have heard great things about this organization and can't wait to get things under way," states Chris Jones.
Kosolofsky and Jones take the total to13 players that are signed for the 2011-2012 season.
