Bucks Add Former Killer Bee and a Winger

LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Monday that they have signed Dan McNeill and Mark Nebus for the 2011-2012 season.
Dan McNeill is 29 years old from Scarborough, Ontario. This former Rio Grande Valley Killer Bee spent the last two seasons with the Fayetteville FireAntz (SPHL).
The 6'4", 209 pound defensemen appeared in 53 games with the FireAntz last season. During his professional career he has played in 273 professional games racking up 437 penalty minutes.
"Dan is a big defenseman that is mobile and not afraid to shake it up with anyone," says Head Coach Serge Dube. "I remember playing against him and look forward to having him come down to Laredo."
Mark Nebus is 29 years old from South Lyon, Michigan. Nebus spent last season in Europe playing with the Dundee Stars (EIHL).
The 6'0", 201 pound right wing appeared in 52 regular season games for the Stars. He scored 13 goals and had 15 assists for a total of 28 points. He also appeared in 2 playoff games scoring 2 goals and 1 assist. He also racked up 160 penalty minutes last season.
"Mark is a tough forward who can put up points," stated Head Coach Dube. "He has some experience at the AA level, he is a great addition to the Bucks roster."
The Laredo Bucks now have 16 players, with the addition of McNeill and Nebus, signed for the 2011-2012 season.
