
Brown Bears Earn Hard Fought Win against Amarillo

The Kenai River Brown Bears earned a hard-fought win on Friday night, defeating the Amarillo Bulls in the 3rd day of the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota. The Brown Bears got off to a quick start, with 1st period goals from Maurin Bouvet, Logan Wendling, and Gustav Berglund. After a scoreless 2nd period, the Bulls tallied 3 goals in the 3rd, and forced the game into overtime. With pressure mounting in the overtime period, veteran forward Matt Rudin scored the game winner, on a beautiful wraparound goal, just 1 minute and 14 seconds into the overtime period.
The Brown Bears look to build on their momentum when they take on the Topeka Roadrunners at 6:45 CST on Saturday.
