Aviators Week in Review: 11/28-12/5 Brooklyn went 2-0-0-0 last week to improve record to 8-5-4-0 on season

The Week in Review: The Brooklyn Aviators went 2-0-0-0 this past weekend to see their record improve to 8-5-4-0 on the season.

On Friday night Brooklyn skated past the Danbury Whalers, 4-2, at the Aviator Sports and Events Center to snap a two-game losing skid against their rivals from Connecticut. Chris Ferazzoli led the way offensively for Brooklyn with two power play goals on the night, and Andrew Owsiak and Anthony Iaquinto chipped in with markers of their own.

Danbury would take a 2-1 edge to start the second period on Alec Kirschner's fourth tally of the year. Brooklyn answered back with two straight goals from Ferazzoli, a power play marker, and Owsiak to give the A's the lead back at 3-2. Ferazzoli doubled-up the A's lead late in the third period on his second goal of the game, also on the power player, which iced the victory for Brooklyn, 4-2. Jo St. Pierre made 33 stops to earn his second victory of the season in a Brooklyn jersey to help push the Aviators over the Whalers.

The Brooklyn Aviators next home game is Dec. 9 against the New Jersey Outlaws at 7:35 P.M. Great tickets are still on sale by calling 718-758-7580, or logging onto www.brooklynaviators.com.
