The Broncos would tack on another run in the 4th inning. With 1 out, Ivan Reyes doubled. Then with 2 away Anthony Bennett reached base on an error by 1st baseman AJ Johnson which allowed Reyes to score and extend the lead to 2-0.

The Dillas would get on the board in their half of the 4th. Keith Brachold led off with a walk and went to 2nd on a wild pitch by Broncos starter Sean Donlin. After a Gary Schneidmiller ground out moved Brachold to 3rd, Danny Bravo followed with a groundout of his own but Brachold scored making the score 2-1.

Amarillo would finally get to Sean Donlin in the 5th inning. Andrew Wong led off with a walk. With 1 out, Brian Bueno singled moving Wong to 2nd. Then with 2 out Jonathan Reynoso singled scoring Wong and advancing Bueno to 3rd. Keith Brachold followed with a single of his own scoring Bueno and moving Reynoso to 3rd. Then Gary Schneidmiller singled scoring Reynoso. That would give the Dillas their first lead of the ball game 4-2.

The Broncos would tie the game back up in the 6th inning. Luany Sanchez led off with a single. Then with 2 outs Matt Lawman tripled scoring Sanchez from 1st. As the relay throw got to 3rd base, the ball skipped by the 3rd baseman and went into Amarillo's dugout, which allowed Lawman to score. That tied the game at 4.

Laredo would get the lead back in the 7th inning. Arnoldo Ponce led off the inning with a double. That was followed by Dwayne White getting hit by a pitch. Edgard Clemente would then fly out and after that Dillas starter Micah Posey would be taken out for Nate Mateo. Luany Sanchez would greet him rudely with a rbi single scoring Ponce and moving White to 2nd. Then with 2 outs, Ivan Reyes doubled scoring both White and Sanchez. That would give the Broncos a 7-4 lead.

Sean Donlin would leave the game after 6 innings in line for the win. He gave up 4 runs on 6 hits. He walked 3 batters and struck out 8. Rhett Barber would come into the game to pitch the 7th inning.

Barber would pitch a scoreless 7th but run into trouble in the 8th. Gary Schneidmiller singled and then went to 2nd on a walk by Danny Bravo. Dan Sausville would then come in to relieve. Sausville would walk the first man he faced in AJ Johnson to load the bases. Andrew Wong grounded out to 3rd base which knocked in Schneidmiller and moved Bravo to 3rd and Johnson to 2nd. After a strikeout, Brian Bueno hit a 2 run double scoring both Bravo and Johnson to tie the game up at 7 heading to the 9th.

The Broncos would do nothing in their half of the 9th inning. Sausville came back out and gave up a lead off double to Jonathan Reynoso when Matt Lawman could not find a popup. The very next batter Keith Brachold doubled in Reynoso to give the Dillas a 8-7 victory.

The Broncos scored 7 runs on 11 hits and committed 0 errors, while the Dillas scored 8 runs on 13 hits and committed 3 errors.
