
Broncos and Thunder game suspended due to rain

Laredo, TX-Tonights Coastal Bend at Laredo Broncos game has been suspended due to rain. The game was stopped in the middle of the first inning, with the Thunder leading by a score of 8-0. The first game will be picked up from there and will be a full nine inning game. The second game of the doubleheader will start about 30 minutes after, and will be a seven inning game. The suspended game will resume at 6:05 at Veterans Field.
The Laredo Broncos begin their 4th season in 2009. The Broncos will play an 80 game season from June to September with 36 home games at Veterans Field.
