
Broadcast Change Announced
February 3, 2003 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2) News Release
(Westport ,Conn., February 3, 2003) â The Major Indoor Soccer League and Fox Sports World have revised and improved the previously announced 2002-2003 MISL Game of the Week television schedule.
The MISL recently negotiated with Fox Sports World for additional broadcast time for the MISL All-Star Weekend. An additional half hour of broadcast time for the MISL All-Star Game has been added to the Friday, March 21 program, which will now run from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM EST. The MISL All-Star Weekend in Milwaukee will feature a series of fan friendly events and conclude with the Eastern Conference All-Stars visiting the Western Conference All-Stars at the Bradley Center. The additional time will allow viewers to see highlights of many of the MISL All-Star Weekend activities, including the 1st Annual Youth Skills Competition and the MISL Legends Game.
For the Friday, February 21 MISL Game of the Week, the League has changed the match to feature the San Diego Sockers and the Kansas City Comets from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City. This match will feature this year's top two scorers in Carlos Farias (#2) and Dino Delevski (#1). The broadcast will commence at 8:00 PM and run through 10:00 PM EST.
A broadcast time change for the February 28 game between the Philadelphia Kixx and the Kansas City Comets has been reset to begin at 5:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM EST.
