Bristol White Sox News Release
The Bristol White Sox continued their long-standing support of local charities in 2012, raising more than $12,000 through in-stadium fundraising.
The Sox also encouraged fans to support local food banks, by conducting several food drives during the season. Those food drives will continue in 2013, and the Sox have several other donation drives planned as part of their exciting 2013 promotional schedule, which will be released soon.
"We are tickled to death to be able to help out the community in this manner," said Mahlon Luttrell, President of Bristol Baseball, Incorporated, which operates the White Sox. "Minor League Baseball has always been a big supporter of charities, and we are glad to do our part."
