Bristol White Sox News Release
Bristol Baseball, Incorporated and the Bristol White Sox will sponsor a trip to Washington, D.C. and Nationals Park in the middle of a pennant race on September 14-15, 2013, when the Nationals host the Philadelphia Phillies.
The trip will be a chance to see the many stars on the Nationals and Phillies' rosters, including Bristol Sox alumni Gio Gonzalez, and will include an overnight stay just outside Washington, with the Sox group departing Bristol on the morning of Saturday, September 14 at 9 AM, and returning to Bristol on the evening of Sunday, April 21, following an afternoon game in Washington, around midnight.
"We are happy to offer a new big league destination to our fans," said Mahlon Lutrell, President of Bristol Baseball, Incorporated and General Manager for the White Sox. "Fans should act now to secure their spots and ensure we can get the best tickets available for both games."
The trip will include deluxe motor coach transportation from Boyce Cox Field in Bristol to the hotel in Springfield, Va. and back home, as well as door-to-door service to Nationals Park for both games, one night hotel accommodations (double occupancy), breakfast on Sunday, and tickets to Saturday night and Sunday afternoon games.
Cost for the trip is $250 based on double occupancy. If you prefer a single room, there is an additional $60 single supplement charge. Families with children under the age of 18 may opt for triple or quadruple occupancy by paying the cost for two adults, plus a surcharge of $185 per child.
