Bristol White Sox News Release

The Bristol White Sox have announced three exciting opportunities for fans to experience the same dirt and grass the professional players step onto each summer.

The Sox are very happy to announce the launch of the Kids Run the Bases program. After each Saturday and Sunday evening game, weather permitting, children will be permitted to run the bases, ending with a high-five at home plate with Dingbat, the official mascot of the Bristol Sox. To participate, children should line up at the first base gate next to the stands following the conclusion of Saturday and Sunday night games.

Fathers and daughters, and mothers and sons, of all ages, will be able to enjoy a Family Catch on the field before the June 25, July 18 and August 1 games this summer, weather permitting. More details on these exciting events will be forthcoming.

Finally, fans may purchase a special ticket package, entitling one person to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a Sox game this summer. For just $25, fans will receive four general admission seats to a game, and one of the four will get to appear on the field to throw out the first pitch. To purchase this exciting package, email firstpitch@bristolbaseball.com.
