
Brisson leads Storm over Sharks

MILWAUKEE (Oct. 5, 2007) - Chris Brisson recorded a hat trick as the Chicago Storm defeated the Orlando Sharks 20-4 on Friday night in the first game of the Major Indoor Soccer League's Preseason Classic at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
The Sharks, one of three expansion teams in the MISL, opened the scoring with an own goal before Brisson tied the game on an assist from new acquisition Carlos "Chile" Farias. Brisson's second goal, 1:33 into the second quarter, tied the game at 4-all. The Storm then poured it on with three scores in a two-minute span late in the period - a 3-pointer by Branko Savic and 2-pointers by Matthew Stewart and Ian Bennett.
Savic set up Brisson for his third goal at the 7:18 mark of the third quarter to make it 13-4. Edgar Rivera added a 3-pointer and Andy Rosenband followed with a 2-pointer. Rivera's 2-pointer at the horn provided the final margin.
On Saturday, the Storm face the Detroit Ignition at 9 a.m. and the host Milwaukee Wave at 7 p.m.
