Brigade Strengthens \'Office Roster\'

(Rochester, NY)-Rochester Brigade team operator Mark Hamister announced the addition of Melissa MacCaull to the front office as the Executive Director.

"We are proud and excited about the addition of Melissa MacCaull to our organization," stated Hamister. "Melissa's extensive experience in professional sports at all organizational levels, combined with her New York roots, equips her to be exactly the right candidate to serve as the senior leader of the Rochester Brigade."

MacCaull comes to the Brigade with an abundance of experience in the sports world having worked from the collegiate level to the professional level. Most recently MacCaull was the Director of Marketing for the Houston Rockets and Comets of the NBA and WNBA for the past two seasons. While at Houston she oversaw the teams' marketing, advertising, promotion, internet, game operation, event, corporate communication and graphic design departments. Prior to that, she spent four seasons with the New Jersey Nets of the NBA as their Director of Marketing, primarily focusing on the team's ticket sales and image marketing, advertising, promotions and internet programs, including the launch of the teams' internet site. She was also responsible for the team's re-branding effect of their most recent logo and corporate identity program, as well as initiating the team's traveling interactive caravan called the HoopsZone. Prior to her tenure at the professional level, MacCaull spent a year as the Director of Promotions for Michigan State University.

"I'm extremely excited to be working for the Hamister Group of companies and the Rochester Brigade, here in this great city of Rochester that is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the entire county," commented MacCaull. "It is my hope that we will be able to harness that passion and channel it through to our team, in hopes of bringing an af2 championship to Rochester."
