San Angelo Saints News Release
(Rochester, NY)-Today, Rochester Brigade head coach/general manager Mark Saunders announced that DS Jason Hunter has been assigned to the team from the arenafootball2 league office.
Hunter, 6-0, 195 lbs., originally from Buffalo, NY, played his collegiate football at Westminster College from 1995-98 and 2000, where he was a three-year letterman and all GLIAC in 1998. In his five seasons, he registered 223 tackles (163 solo) and four interceptions. Hunter was recently released from the Pensacola Barracudas of the af2.
With the addition of Hunter to the roster, DS Reggie Blanchard was placed on re-assignment earlier this week. Saunders also announced today, that FB/LB Lance Ramer was placed on short-term IR with a knee injury.
The second place Brigade (3-3) heads on the road this week to face the fourth place Mohegan Wolves (2-4) in a Northeast Division battle Friday, May 17, at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The team will return home to face the Greensboro Prowlers (2-4) on Friday, May 24. Plenty of good seats still remain!
