Rochester Brigade News Release
ROCHESTER, N.Y. â The Rochester Brigade will open their 2003 arenafootball2 season on the road tomorrow, April 5 at 7:30 p.m., when they visit their division rival the Mohegan Wolves in Uncasville, CT.
"Let's just say that the guys are tired of practicing against themselves and are looking forward to taking on the Wolves tomorrow night," noted Rochester Brigade Head Coach Mark Saunders. "We've had a really good training camp and feel that the season is going to be very successful."
During the 2002 af2 campaign, the Brigade met the Wolves on three occasions, with Rochester taking the series 2-1. The last victory catapulted the Brigade to their first ever playoff berth, as they beat the Wolves at the Mohegan Sun Arena 28-18 on July 19, 2002.
The Brigade home opener is Friday, April 18 vs. the Norfolk Nighthawks at 7:30 p.m. It's also the first Brigade Family 4-Pack game, presented by Krispy Kreme, Zweigle's, Heluva Good and the Democrat and Chronicle. Brigade Family 4-Packs start at just $29.
For more information on the Family 4-packs or how to become a season ticket holder call (585) 292-1530.
