Boston Breakers News Release
The rivalry between the Boston Breakers and Sky Blue FC has steadily increased since the 2009 season. The last meeting between the two teams at Harvard Stadium resulted in a record-setting 4-0 win for the Breakers.
In that win, the Breakers set a WPS franchise record for most goals scored in a game. Sky Blue FC leads the overall series (4-1-3), but the Breakers have a chance to shift that record in their direction this season. The teams play four times in 2011, including Sunday night at Harvard.
Purchase an individual Boston Breakers game ticket vs. Sky Blue FC (Sunday, May 1st, at 6 p.m. at Harvard Stadium) and receive a half price ticket for the Boston Breakers final regular season home game on August 14th vs. Sky Blue FC at 4 p.m.
Go to www.breakerstickets.com to get tickets. In order to redeem your half price ticket, please check off the "YES" box when asked, "Email me the Promo Code for the half price ticket for August 14th vs. Sky Blue FC". You will then receive an email from Customer Service Manager Caitlin Pickul with the promo code. For more information or questions, please call 617-202-5208.
