Boston Breakers News Release

The Boston Breakers and magicJack go head-to-head Saturday at Harvard Stadium, and each team is looking to gain three points and get closer to locking up one of the two remaining playoff spots.

There will be plenty of world class talent on the field for Saturday's 7 p.m. contest. Nearly a dozen players combined between the Breakers and magicJack played for the U.S. Women's National Team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, including Lauren Cheney, Rachel Buehler, Stephanie Cox, Amy LePeilbet, and Kelley O'Hara from the Breakers, and Abby Wambach, Christie Rampone, Shannon Boxx, and Megan Rapinoe for magicJack.

Boston's roster also includes England's Kelly Smith and Alex Scott, who both played four games for England at the World Cup, as well as World Cup gold medalist Aya Sameshima from Japan.

The Breakers look to rebound from a tough, 2-1 loss to the WNY Flash on Wednesday. Keelin Winters scored in the 47th minute for Boston after the Breakers fell behind, 2-0, in the first half.
