Breakers Hire Dean Conway

NEEDHAM, MA (April 3, 2003) - The Boston Breakers today announce the hiring of Dean Conway as a Staff Coach. Conway will help out with the Breakers daily practice duties and work with the camps and clinics program.

"We are delighted to have Dean Conway join our staff,'' said Breakers President and General Manager Joe Cummings. "He is an ambassador for soccer throughout New England and will be a welcome addition to our soccer staff and our camp and clinics program.''

Conway comes to the Breakers after holding the position as Director of Coaching for Mass. Youth Soccer from 1997-2003. He is a National Staff Instructor with U.S. Soccer. He is a U.S. Soccer "A" licensed coach and a U.S. Youth Soccer licensed coach.

A native of Massachusetts, Conway also serves on the Board of Directors of New England Scores and the Women's Soccer Foundation. He is also an advisor to City Kicks, an after school inner-city program for middle schools.

Conway, a graduate of Georgetown University, was a teacher at three middle schools in Massachusetts. He specializes in English, Latin and Social Studies. Conway currently works in the Learning Center at Roxbury Community College.

The Boston Breakers will play 10 of their 11 home matches at Boston University's Nickerson Field. Single game tickets for the Breakers regular-season home matches are priced at $26, $17 and $12.
