Greeneville, TN - The Danville Braves (18-12), the current Appalachian League East leaders, shutout the Greeneville Astros (14-16), 4-0, on Monday night at Pioneer Park. The Braves were led by the bats at the bottom of the order and a pitching staff that held the Astros to just four hits on the night.

Meanwhile, the Braves were led by the seventh, eighth and ninth hitters in their lineup. Tanner Murphy went two-for-three with a homerun and a double while Ozhaino Albies and Fernelys Sanchez each went two-for-four with a double.
The Braves took the initial lead in the game on a Jordan Edgerton RBI single in the first inning. Then, in the second inning, they got a RBI double from Albies and a RBI single from Sanchez on consecutive at-bats to take a 3-0 lead. Finally, in the seventh inning, Murphy capped off the night with a solo homerun.
