Braves release 2007 schedule

Richmond, VA - The 2007 International League schedule for the Richmond Braves is set. The Braves will open the '07 home schedule at The Diamond vs. the Indianapolis Indians Friday, April 13 at 4 PM. The Braves will again play 72 home games at The Diamond.

32 of the Braves 72 home dates will fall on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Richmond will again play at home July 4 (vs. Syracuse). The Braves are also home for Labor Day (September 3 vs. Norfolk).

The Braves will have two eight game homestands and one ten game homestand. Once again in 2007 the Braves will play each of their South Division rivals 16 times, with 12 games vs. each West Division club, and eight games each vs. North Division squads. The home schedule ends September 3. The Braves open the season on the road at Buffalo April 5. Game times for the 2007 road schedule will be announced at a later date.
