BRADENTON, Fla. - Jase Bowen drove in two more runs Saturday, including his third homer in two games, in a 4-2 Marauders win over the Palm Beach Cardinals at LECOM Park.

The win gave the Marauders (14-9) their fifth straight win as well as their sixth in their last seven games.

Bowen opened the scoring with a first-inning RBI-single and later provided insurance in the bottom of the eighth with a solo home run to left. Over his last five games, Bowen is now 9-for-19 with four home runs and 11 RBI.

After Bowen's RBI-single in the first, the Marauders got a run-scoring single in the second from Jasiah Dixon for a 2-0 lead against the Cardinals (6-17) and starter Ludwin Jimenez (0-3). Todd Lott brought Palm Beach within one run in the fourth inning on a solo homer off J.C. Flowers, but a Dariel Lopez RBI-single off reliever Gustavo Rodriguez re-extended the Bradenton lead to 3-1.

Flowers allowed just two hits over four innings in his start for the Marauders, striking out six and walking just one. Reliever Denny Roman (2-1) allowed a second solo homer to Lott in the seventh, but provided three otherwise steady innings out of the bullpen before Xavier Concepcion, making his Marauders debut, held Palm Beach scoreless over the final two innings for the save.

Marauders pitchers benefitted from five double plays by the infield, including in the ninth inning, when Todd Lott lined out to shortstop Maikol Escotto, who threw to first base to double off Jacob Bushberger to end the game.

At the plate, Escotto went 1-for-3 with a walk for Bradenton, extending his on-base streak to 17 games.

The game was also the Marauders' first without an error since May 15 at Dunedin, ending an 11-game streak of games with at least one error (21 total errors during the stretch).

The series concludes Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. at LECOM Park. RHP Adrian Florencio (0-1, 0.82 ERA) will start for the Marauders against Palm Beach LHP John Beller (0-1, 5.09 ERA).
