Bowen + Fatoric Debut as Long Road Stretch Comes to an End
April 3, 2023 - Major League Rugby (MLR)
Toronto Arrows News Release
It came down to the final play of the match, but the Dallas Jackals did just enough to hold off a late push from the visiting Toronto Arrows to secure a 14-11 win on Saturday evening.
Ross Braude scored the Arrows' lone try in the tight affair at Choctaw Stadium - the last leg of Toronto's season-opening, six-game road swing - and Sam Malcolm chipped in two penalty goals.
Hometown lock Hank Stevenson made his first MLR start, and recent signees D'Shawn Bowen and Dawson Fatoric came on for their MLR debuts.
Next up: the team's home opener versus the New York Ironworkers on Saturday, April 8 at York Lions Stadium.
