BOSTON, MA - The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, will have the best faceoff man in NCAA history joining the team in June after #1 overall draft pick Trevor Baptiste of University of Denver's won his 1,118 th faceoff to became the a ll- t ime Leader in college lacrosse .
The record - breaking faceoff occurred with 38.8 seconds in the 4 th quarter against Marquette in their Big East Semifinal match up. The #4 Ranked (Inside Lacrosse) Pioneers will head to face Georgetown in the Big East Finals at Villanova on Saturday at 2 :00 p.m. and can be watched on CBS Sports Network.
