Boston Blazers News Release

Boston - The Boston Blazers (www.blazerslacrosse.com) will call the TD Banknorth Garden (www.tdbanknorthgarden.com) "home" for the next three years in an agreement that brings professional indoor lacrosse to Boston's premier sports and entertainment arena. The Blazers begin play in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) in January 2009.

"The TD Banknorth Garden will be our home for many years to come," said Blazers President Doug Reffue. "The TD Banknorth Garden is the perfect location for a fun, fan-friendly experience that Boston Blazers lacrosse promises to deliver to every fan that attends a game. Blazers fans can count on great value at each game because the National Lacrosse League provides a highly entertaining brand of lacrosse played by the best players in the world. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the country, and we look forward to bringing NLL action to the Garden."

The move solidifies the NLL's presence in 13 of the top sports and entertainment venues in North America.

"We are excited to welcome the expansion of the National Lacrosse League and add the Boston Blazers to our roster here at the TD Banknorth Garden," said John Wentzell, President of Delaware North Companies - Boston and the TD Banknorth Garden. "This booming sport with action-packed play and passionate fan base is a great fit for our city and the Garden. We're looking forward to providing the team and fans with a world class experience in one of the country's premier venues."

The Blazers experience at the TD Banknorth Garden promises to provide fans with highly skilled lacrosse play in a tremendous environment. The state-of-the-art facility will showcase the game on the Garden HDX, a first-of-its-kind high definition video scoreboard to show highlights from NLL action and engage the crowd. Blazers Head Coach Tom Ryan, players and the Blazers dance team will sign autographs for fans after every home game.

Fan club seating sections, reserved rows for organizations from the community and a ticket-pricing structure built to provide value to fans at every price point are planned. Details of the Blazers ticket plans, including season tickets, partial season ticket packages and individual tickets will be announced when the NLL releases its official 2009 schedule this summer.

"Blazers games at the TD Banknorth Garden will feature world-class lacrosse that is fiercely competitive, quick, creative and emotional," said Ryan. "The TD Banknorth Garden will be rocking with hard hitting action from some of the game's top playmakers. Fans are in for a real treat in January."

The Blazers will play eight home games as part of the National Lacrosse League's 16-game regular season schedule from January through April, 2009 at the TD Banknorth Garden. Fans can purchase tickets by calling (877) 859-2233.
