Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings News Release
Bossier City, La- The Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings are conducting an open tryout for the upcoming season on Sunday, March 1st at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. Anyone who feels they have what it takes to become a professional athlete is encouraged to participate.
Registration for all players begins at 12:00 PM(Noon). The tryout will be under the direction of BattleWings' head coach Jon Norris and his staff. A non-refundable registration fee of $60(cash only) is due the day of the tryout. Participants should come prepared with correct footwear for field turf and proper athletic attire (track spikes are prohibited). Participants will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, and standing long jump. Participants will be evaluated in Arena Football specific drills. Kickers will be evaluated on accuracy and distance.

All Players to Report
All players (Big/Skilled) will be tested in:
40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle, standing long jump
Testing will be followed by an evaluation of all players in position drills specific to Arena Football. Kickers will be evaluated on distance and accuracy.
All players should come prepared with correct footwear for field turf and provide their own comfortable workout gear. Track spikes are prohibited.
