TOUGH HOMESTAND CONTINUES
One night after facing the Southern Conference leading Laredo Bucks, the Killer Bees face off with the Northern Conference leading Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Bossier, like Laredo, is 8-1-1 in their previous 10 games and they are currently riding a 6 game winless streak. Rio Grande Valley is winless (0-3-1) in their previous four games, which is their longest winless span this season. The Killer Bees come into tonight trailing the Austin Ice Bats by four standing points with two games-in-hand. The Killer Bees lose one of the games in hand tonight, as Austin is off tonight. The two teams will face off tomorrow afternoon in Austin.
THE SERIES
This is the first ever meeting between these two squads and the first of two this season. The Killer Bees will complete the home-and-home series by visiting Bossier-Shreveport on March 14, which is the final day of the regular season.
