GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers continue their current homestand with a three-game series against the Beloit Snappers from August 18-20. On the field, the Timber Rattlers will be fighting it out for a playoff spot in the Western Division. Off the field, there are giveaways, a night for the military, and fireworks planned for the fans.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18 at 7:05pm; BONUS WAPL BANG FOR YOUR BUCK NIGHT & AMERICAN TV WIN-IT WEDNESDAY: The first 500 fans to enter Time Warner Cable Field will receive a player magnet featuring All-Star second baseman Scooter Gennett courtesy of Lamers Bus Lines. The Timber Rattlers are holding a bonus Bang for Your Buck Night with soda, hot dogs, and Miller Beer products for $1. The usual Win-It Wednesday Promotion is happening, too. Every fan aged 16 and older will receive a scratch-off ticket. Every ticket is a winner with prizes from the Timber Rattlers and American TV of Appleton
THURSDAY, AUGUST 19 at 7:05pm; WIXX Thirsty Thursday: This is the rescheduled date for Military Appreciation Night. The Timber Rattlers are offering free admission to fans holding a Military ID, a group discounted rate to family members, and several military-themed displays. For full details on this promotion, please see this release. There is a poster of Kentrail Davis, a supplemental first round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers from 2009, available for the first 1,000 fans through the gates courtesy of Express Convenience Centers. WIXX Thirsty Thursday allows fans to purchase 22 oz sodas and 16 oz. beers for $2 during the night at Time Warner Cable Field. After the game fans may play Launch-A-Ball and win great prizes from area businesses.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 20 at 7:05pm; North Shore Bank Family Night: Baycom has a special baseball giveaway planned for the first 1,000 fans. The ball features a photo of Timber Rattlers mascot Fang. Children 12 and under eat free as part of North Shore Bank Family Night in conjunction with momslikeme.com. After the game, there is a fireworks display sponsored by 95.9 KISS-FM. After the fireworks, ThedaCare Orthopedics presents Kids Run the Bases for children 14 and under.
