Bon Jovi Concert From Germany to Air During Soul Post-Game

PHILADELPHIA (Wednesday, May 21) - Fans who attend Thursday night's game between the Philadelphia Soul and Kansas City Brigade at the Wachovia Center will not only get to catch all the high-scoring, fast-paced action of the Arena Football League, but also get to see the Bon Jovi concert from Veltsin Stadium in Gelsinkirchen, Germany.

The Soul announced Wednesday that the first hour of the Bon Jovi concert will be played at the Wachovia Center on the Jumbotron after the Soul game ends. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the game starts at 7:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at approximately 11:15 p.m.

The Bon Jovi concert from Gelsinkirchen, Germany is also on Thursday night. The concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. in Germany, which is 2 p.m. in Philadelphia.

"This is a first for us," Soul general manager Rich Lisk said. "We are excited to try this and see what the final product will be. The turnover time from the concert to the approximate start time is a narrow window. Barring any setbacks with technology, this should be a great experience for Soul and Bon Jovi fans. "

Jon Bon Jovi is co-majority owner of the Soul.

The Philadelphia Soul (10-2), YOUR Team...YOUnited, take on the Kansas City Brigade this Thursday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. If the Soul win, the club will clinch a playoff berth for the third straight season. The game can be heard live on 950 ESPN and stream live at www.950ESPN.com. The first 7,500 fans to the game will receive a Soul car magnet courtesy of Comcast. The Soul are celebrating their fifth anniversary this season. The team has drawn an AFL-best 514,226 fans combined during the past four years.
