Three Teams Can Clinch Playoff Berths in Week 13

NEW YORK - The Dallas Desperados (9-2), Philadelphia Soul (10-2) and San Jose SaberCats (7-5) can join the Chicago Rush (9-2) by clinching playoff berths this weekend as the Mitsubishi Motors Drive to ArenaBowl XXII New Orleans gains momentum. The Chicago Rush became the first team to clinch a division title and earn a first-round bye with its victory over Los Angeles (4-8) on Monday.

Philadelphia and San Jose can clinch playoff berths with home wins, while Dallas will attempt to clinch on the road with a win coupled with losses by New York (6-5) and Tampa Bay (5-6). Chicago can clinch home-field advantage throughout the American Conference playoffs with a win combined with a San Jose loss.

Following is each team's postseason-clinching scenario for Week 13:

The CHICAGO RUSH clinches home-field advantage in the American Conference with the following scenario:

1) Chicago Rush win + San Jose SaberCats loss

The SAN JOSE SABERCATS clinch an American Conference playoff spot with the following scenarios:

1) San Jose SaberCats win, or

2) Kansas City Brigade loss, or

3) Arizona Rattlers loss

The DALLAS DESPERADOS clinch a National Conference playoff spot with the following scenario:

1) Dallas Desperados win + New York Dragons loss + Tampa Bay Storm loss

The PHILADELPHIA SOUL clinch a National Conference playoff spot with the following scenario:

1) Philadelphia Soul win
