
Bombers Rally, Beat Rex

Dubois County Bombers News Release
The Dubois County Bombers scored seven runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to beat the Terre Haute Rex and erase a 2-0 deficit to win 7-3 Friday night in Terre Haute.
Bombers second baseman Bo Ausmus hit a solo homerun in the seventh and Dalton Rouleaux, Cody Daily and Jeff Zahn had doubles as the Bombers offense eventually woke up.
Pitcher Ty Simpson worked six innings, giving up two earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five. Joey McClung pitched an inning in relief and gave up one earned run, and Nick Green pitched two scoreless innings to close it out.
Billy Timmerman, relieving Kyle Zimmerman, took the loss for the Rex.
Rouleaux and Zahn drove in two for the Bombers, and Ausmus, Landon Curry, and Austin Nyman each had one RBI for the Bombers as Dubois County improved to 9-1 after suffering their first loss Thursday at home against Terre Haute. The Rex are now 5-5.
The Bombers host the Hannibal Cavemen for a pair this weekend, starting Saturday at 7:15.
