Evansville, IN: The Evansville Thunderbolts special team unit had a strong night despite a 5-0 loss at the hands of the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Shorthanded 7 total times, including a five-minute major power with a two-minute 5-on-3 advantage embedded, the Thunderbolts penalty kill held strong and no power play goals were allowed. Alex Murray was solid in net, stopping 30 shots throughout the evening for the Thunderbolts.
