Evansville, IN: The Evansville Thunderbolts special team unit had a strong night despite a 5-0 loss at the hands of the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Shorthanded 7 total times, including a five-minute major power with a two-minute 5-on-3 advantage embedded, the Thunderbolts penalty kill held strong and no power play goals were allowed. Alex Murray was solid in net, stopping 30 shots throughout the evening for the Thunderbolts.

The Thunderbolts travel to Birmingham tomorrow to take on the Bulls at 7:00pm CT. You can catch the action online on SPHL Live or listen in for free at EvansvilleThunderbolts.com/fan-center/listen.
