
Bob Hamley to Coach at NLL All-Star Game

GLENDALE, AZ --- The National Lacrosse League announced today that Arizona Sting Head Coach/General Manager Bob Hamley will be behind the bench at this year's NLL All-Star Game in Toronto as the Head Coach of the West Division All-Stars. Hamley's assistant coach on the team will be Chris Hall of the Calgary Roughnecks. Rochester Knighthawks Head Coach Ed Comeau will coach the East Division All-Stars with Lindsay Sanderson of the Philadelphia Wings serving as an assistant. The game is scheduled for February 25 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
Hamley, the defending NLL Head Coach and General Manager of the Year, has led the Sting to a 3-1 record thus far in 2006 - a mark which has them leading the NLL's West Division. In an preview of the All-Star coaching match-up, Hamley will be going head-to-head with Comeau this coming Saturday when the Sting travel to the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial to take on the Knighthawks. The game can be seen on-line vis-Ã -vis B2 Networks.
The next home game for the Sting will be on Saturday, February 18, when they take Chris Hall's Calgary Roughnecks at the Glendale Arena. Arizona beat Calgary 11-10 in overtime on January 27.
