
Bo Altobelli Not Returning

The Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League announced Thursday that sophomore catcher Bo Altobelli of Texas Tech has decided to not play for the team this season. He instead will turn to his hometown of Plano, Texas, and focus on weight-training.
Altobelli hit .244, with no homers and five RBIs, in 20 games in 2010 before leaving the team in late July with an injury. He ¬â¢s hitting .361 in 30 games for Texas Tech this spring, with no homers and 17 RBIs.
