FULLERTON, Calif. - The Los Angeles Blues are excited to announce an extensive partnership with the Matador Cantina in Historic Downtown Fullerton. The popular restaurant and lounge with its Mexican-inspired cuisine, premium tequilas and signature cocktails comes onboard as an official sponsor and will be hosting a number of Blues events throughout the 2012 season.

Between its exciting menu and its warm, inviting dcor, the Matador Cantina brings Orange County an entirely new dining and social experience. Prepared by Executive Chef David Dennis, the large variety of delicious dishes offers a fusion of traditional and contemporary Mexican-inspired cuisine. Everything is made to order, using only the freshest high-quality ingredients available.

Among the Blues-related events to take place at the Matador Cantina this year will be a reception later this week for the Mexican U-20 national team as well as player and fan get-togethers and viewing parties.

"We're excited to be supporting the Blues organization and look forward to all the team events and viewing parties," said Dennis, who is also the Matador Cantina's General Manager. "We're big fans of soccer, so the team will feel right at home here."

The excitement is mutual, with the Blues front office as well as several coaches and players having already experienced the Matador Cantina's delicious cuisine and pleasant atmosphere firsthand. Located at 111 North Harbor Boulevard, it is a stone's throw away from both the USL PRO club's offices and its Fullerton College training ground.

"This partnership gives us an opportunity to be associated with one of Fullerton 's most popular local businesses," said Blues Vice President of Business Operations Steve Donner. "It truly is a natural fit, as the Matador Cantina and our organization share a common vision of providing a first-class product and the kind of memorable experience that will turn one-time guests into loyal customers and casual fans into passionate supporters."
