IRVINE, Calif. (July 16, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC (7-8-2, 23 pts) faces another big test Thursday, facing their rivals up I-405, LA Galaxy II (10-5-2, 32 pts) at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.
LA has defeated OC in the previous two meetings this season, 2-1 on June 6th at Anteater Stadium, and 3-0 on June 19th at StubHub Center.
The Blues are coming off a road trip to Oklahoma, playing at Tulsa Roughnecks FC and OKC Energy FC. In Tulsa, Didier Crettenand scored his seventh goal of the season in a 4-1 loss, while Chino Santana and Denzel Slager scored in a 2-2 draw in Oklahoma City.
Jaime Villareal, Ariel Lassiter, Andre Auras and Jack McBean all scored in LA's last match, a 4-0 win against Sacramento Republic FC in Sacramento on July 11th.
Crettenand and Christofer Ramirez lead the Blues with seven goals each, and Crettenand also leads the club in assists, with four. Lassiter leads LA with eight goals, while Raul Mendiola leads the club and USL with eight assists.
