Bluefish Highlight 'Most Dynamic' Promotions of 2015 Season

(Bridgeport, Conn. - April 7, 2015) - The Bridgeport Bluefish today have announced their 'most dynamic' lineup of promotions ever for the 2015 season. Not only have the Bluefish increased the number of giveaways for this upcoming season, but have also added theme nights and celebrity appearances and entertainment performances that fans will not want to miss.
The 2015 Bluefish 'Most Dynamic' promotions include:
Friday, April 24 (5:35 p.m.) - Human Fire Ball Appearance - The Bluefish open the season with the Ted Batchelor's Human Fire Ball post-game base run appearance.
Sunday, May 17 (1:35 p.m.) - Pirates and Princesses Day - Your favorite Pirates and Princesses will be appearing at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard, and entertaining fans throughout the game. Fans that dress up as pirates or princesses will receive special offers for Pirates and Princesses Day.
Saturday, May 23 (6:05 p.m.) - Bachelorette Tribute Night: Featuring Chris and Desiree Siegfried - Bluefish will honor Television Series with an appearance from star Desiree Hartsock and new husband Chris Siegfried, who appeared on Season 9 of the Bachelorette. Chris and Desiree will host an early afternoon women's baseball clinic. Fans will have a chance to attend a VIP Cocktail Party and special offers will be available for bachelor and bachelorette parties. Chris, a former professional baseball pitcher, will be in uniform for the Bluefish.
Monday, June 1 (7:05 p.m.) - Michelle Beadle Appreciation Night - Come help the Bluefish show our appreciation for Michelle Beadle, ESPN sports news reporter. The first 500 fans at The Ballpark will receive a special giveaway.
Saturday, June 13 (6:05 p.m.) - Superhero Night, presented by Alternate Universe - Your favorite superheroes will be taking over the Ballpark at Harbor Yard and taking pictures with fans courtesy of Alternate Universe. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superheroes for a chance to participate in on-field games.
Sunday, June 14 (1:35 p.m.) - NY Jets Flight Crew Appearance / Cheerleader Day - Members of the New York Jets Flight Crew will be performing, taking pictures, and signing autographs for fans on Cheerleader Day. Cheerleading and dance teams will receive special offers.
Wednesday, June 24 (7:05 p.m.) - Bark in the Park, presented by Paws 'N Effect - Bring your dogs out to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard to enjoy a game of baseball.
Thursday, June 25 (7:05 p.m.) - Cowboy Monkey Rodeo Appearance - Cowboy Monkey Rodeo, featuring Team Ghost Riders, will be heading to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for a night of lassoing monkeys.
Saturday, July 18 (6:05 p.m.) - Sci-Fi Night, presented by Alternate Universe - Sci-Fi Night is landing in the outfield with 501st Cosmic Character appearances sponsored by Alternate Universe. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite sci-fi characters for a chance to participate in on-field games.
Friday, July 24 (7:05 p.m.) - Summer SantaCon - Wear your favorite SantaCon costume to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for Summer SantaCon. Players are joining in on the festivities with Santa Specialty Jerseys, which fans will have the opportunity to take home at the end of the game.
Saturday, July 25 (6:05 p.m.) - Catalina Wine Mixer - Bluefish will host a Catalina Wine Mixer with the Step Brothers movie theme.
Friday, August 7 (7:05 p.m.) - Ghostbusters Night featuring The Ecto-1A - The Ecto-1A vehicle from Ghostbusters will be on display at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. The Connecticut Ghostbusters will be in attendance. Fans will have a chance to take pictures, and players will wear Ghostbusters Specialty Jerseys to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and fans will have the opportunity to bring home the jerseys at the end of the game.
Thursday, August 13 (7:05 p.m.) - Gamer Night - Popular computer and console games like Minecraft, MLB 2K15, & Super Mario Bros. will be taking over The Ballpark at Harbor Yard on in-field games, prizes and more.
Sunday, August 16 (5:35 p.m.) - Bark in the Park, presented by Paws 'N Effect - Bring your dogs out to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for the final Bark in the Park, presented by Paws 'N Effect.
Monday, August 24 (7:05 p.m.) - David Letterman Appreciation Night - The Bluefish are showing their appreciation for Late Show host David Letterman, who will be retiring this year. The first 500 fans at the Ballpark will receive a special giveaway.
Thursday, August 27 (7:05 p.m.) - Beach Night - Come out to celebrate our East Coast beaches with a Beach Theme Night. The first 500 fans will receive a Hawaiian T-Shirt.
Saturday, August 29 (6:05 p.m.) - ZOOperstars! Performance - A special performance by the traveling entertainment phenomenon, ZOOperstars! Come see hilarious inflatable characters such as Alex Frogriguez, Clammy Sosa, and Whale Gretzky.
Tuesday, September 8 (7:05 p.m.) - Grandma Beauty Pageant - Come out to watch a Grandma Beauty Pageant in honor of the Silver Sluggers Program.
Thursday, September 10 (7:05 p.m.) - Singles Night Out - Mix, Mingle & Meet - Singles swim over to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard for a chance to Mix, Mingle, and Meet other local singles.
Friday, September 18 (7:05 p.m.) - Micro Wrestling Federation Showcase - Come out to cheer on the Micro Wrestling Federation as they perform a post-game wrestling showcase.
