BlueCats Sign Kicker Ton-Ton Luzayadio

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats are pleased to announce that place-kicker Ton-Ton Luzayadio has signed with the team and intends to play for the ‘Cats during the 2006 indoor football season.

In 2005, Ton-Ton played for the Black Hills Red Dogs in the UIF and finished the season second on his team in scoring with 94 points. He converted 40 of his 46 extra point attempts on the season (87%) making him the most accurate PAT kicker in the league last season among all kickers with at least as many PAT attempts.

Luzayadio played for the Arkansas Twisters in the af2 during 2004, and played semi-pro football from 2001-2003 in the Colorado Football Conference. He earned the CFC Kicker of the Year Award in each of his 3 seasons and connected on field attempts from 55 and 53 yards while kicking for the Northern Colorado Wolfpack in 2003.

In college he played for Colorado State during the 2000 season after transferring from Western State in Gunnison, Colorado where he played in 1997.

Ton-Ton was a multi-sport athlete in high school, earning a spot on the All-State team in football, track, and soccer while attending Wheat Ridge High School in Colorado. The football team won the state championship during his sophomore and senior seasons (1994, 1996) and he still holds the school record for most extra points in a season with 51 in 1996.
