PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos welcome the Jacksonville Suns to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium beginning Wednesday night. The full-packed series contains two firework nights, Danny Wuerffel throwing out a first pitch and Thirsty Thursday!

What's Cookin': Chef Travis Wilson has prepared the Sizzling Skirt Steak Sandwich. The Jacksonville Suns are the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, so this sandwich is inspired by the city of Miami! This marinated and grilled skirt steak is topped with caramelized onions, provolone cheese and a fresh chimichurri placed on top of spinach! This special will be served at the Port Side Grille with French fries for $12.

Danny Wuerffel and Deterrian Shackelford - 1996 Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel will be joined by 2014 Wuerffel Trophy winner Deterrian Shackelford to throw out the first pitches and sign autographs during the game. Hancock Bank Club, Regions Bank and Wahoos Lounge members are able to attend a pregame meet and greet from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. located in the Wahoos Lounge.
Time Warp Night - In honor of Back to the Future celebrating its 30th Anniversary, Bayfront Stadium will go through its own time warp traveling from 1985 to 1955 to 2015!
Silver Wahoos - Our dancing group, the Silver Wahoos presented by the Retirement Planners, will perform at tonight's game.
Thursday, July 2nd vs. Jacksonville Suns
First pitch at 6:35 p.m., Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Thirsty Thursday - Head down to Seville Quarter, park for free, enjoy drink specials and $5 appetizers, and then ride the free Wahoo Choo Choo tram to the stadium. Once at the game, continue to enjoy the drink specials in the park.
Country Western Night - Put on your best pair of boots and head on down to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium!
