The Marion Blue Racers showed their dominance in the season opener coined the Chamber of Commerce Cup sponsored by Aaron's. In their 2014 debut, they won convincingly against the Kentucky Xtreme, 69-13 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Marion. The Offensive MVP Award, sponsored by Burger King, was given to MBR Quarterback Adam Neugebauer who had 5 touchdowns. Also, The First Choice Tax Service "Big Ugly" Award for Best Interior Lineman was given to Defensive Lineman James Spikes who had 4 sacks, 5 tackles and a safety.
The next game for Central Ohio's ONLY Pro Football Team is on the road February 16 against the Erie Explosion at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, PA. On February 23, MBR returns home to face the Dayton Sharks at 4pm.
